What’s an influencing factor for you? The news? Perhaps it’s the unsettling questions children ask? Or could it be the unresolved questions you have in mind but are too afraid to know? What can you see in a different light if you tried? Regardless of how you look at the problems and difficulties in the world, there is still the beauty of life. So we move on through the uncertainty and in faith, we are confident and believe anything and everything is possible.
What if we believe something even when we read, hear, and see otherwise? This is when we trust all will be well. However, despite what we believe, the likelihood of dramatic changes remains relatively high, considering the circumstances we find ourselves in. We are where we are… where the future is unknown.
One who gains strength by overcoming obstacles possesses the only strength which can overcome adversity.
FALLING APART ISN’T AN OPTION
The thing is, we have options even when options change dramatically. This is when we get stuck, doubting, worrying, and fearing, only adding to our troubles.
We have no control over the situation, but we do have control over what we choose to think and do. We can lean into accepting all of the changes we need to implement into our daily lives. The key is getting to a place of calm acceptance. Difficult, I know, considering what we are going through. Could a technique of mind over matter work? I’m not referring to denial here, what I’m alluding to is a practice of calming techniques (prayer, meditation, affirmations… serenity now mantras). We do what we can, while we can, with what we have.
You never know how strong you are, until being strong is your only choice.
BELIEVE ANYTHING & EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
How we take care of ourselves during this time is important. We are where we must be for the time being. There will eventually come a time when clarity divinely pulls us through this critical stage, and it will guide us to accept the unexpected, the questionable, and the unsettled.
The world has dramatically changed, and we must change with it. Still, what remains is the beauty of life, the beauty of you, who you are, what you believe, your well-being, and how you handle this day forward. Together we’re being challenged by this new life event that unfolded without detection. Nevertheless, life goes on, regardless of what has taken place. What we’re going through isn’t only a new challenge but a new reality.
You have power over your mind – not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.
So what we do is face this challenge and get on with our lives. We are asked to embark on a path that leads to an unknown destination. We are also being asked to live the life we know differently. When we alter the way we live, we make the required adjustments. Nonetheless, it’s here we’re provoked by the discomfort of not only the unknown but the unease of knowing what is taking place in our world. We hurt, but over time we heal, we learn, and we grow. We have the strength to endure.
