Why justify inaction? Instead, look closely at what you’re afraid of. See something in a different light, beyond a limited standpoint. This alone could gift you with a vantage point. Whenever we’re confident, we are willing to move on if things don’t work out as planned. What if we are willing but at the same time find it difficult to get out of a rut?
When we are stuck in a rut we are being invited to grow and expand.
We can make the impossible possible by letting stuff go and by giving our ego the heave-ho. Whenever we are certain, we’re more inclined to rebuild those things that add value to our lives. We’re confident for we know we have a fifty-fifty chance to succeed.
If you can’t rid yourself of any troubling situation keeping you up at night, at least you can say you tried to make it work. And if you fail after attempting to make any wrong right, then you need to move on. Simple as it sounds, it’s not easy.
REFOCUS
Constantly focusing on the limitations, instead of all the possibilities, is how people become stuck in their lives. It only serves to recreate the same old reality from day to day. And soon the days turn into years, and lifetimes.
Nonetheless, we need a distraction to focus our attention elsewhere. Perhaps we can work it out by refocusing. Taking a walk usually helps to clear one’s thoughts. The key is getting to a positive mindset. If you’re not in the right headspace, it will be difficult to get out of a rut.
Sad to say, we’re too consumed with what others think and end up overthinking. Afraid of making mistakes and saying the wrong things only to self-sabotage our life. It’s important to step up to the plate. In other words, take a chance. You do you by doing what’s right.
HOW TO GET OUT OF A RUT
We leave behind those unpleasant thoughts of past heartache, bitterness, and frustration. We let go and stop dwelling on the problems. Whenever you work from your shadow side, you wind up being your own worst critic. What happens? Nothing positive. You sabotage everything that means anything, including your chance for happiness.
What if you were to work things out from a place of love, with confidence and courage? You will find a place of peace. Where acceptance thrives, trust grows, and where happiness will be sure to flourish.
Any action is often better than no action, especially if you have been stuck in an unhappy situation for a long time.
