Something exciting takes place whenever we delve outside the comfort zone just outside of our expectations. What if we lived beyond expectations and released any assumption we may have? Where do we begin? For starters, we have to go with the proverbial flow. The thing is we wait with bated breath, we hope with a senseless resignation, and long for something elusive until we realize that this isn’t how life should be. We can step aside only to discover that important aspects of life take place in those ever fleeting moments. Or we can step into our courage and make something happen rather than just think they will magically appear. And by releasing the thoughts that keep us stuck, we move beyond expectations into a sense of accomplishment. This is where we do something instead of just thinking about it.
There’s no straighter road to success than exceeding expectations one day at a time.
It’s usually a recollection that keep us trapped. Perhaps we dwell on a missed opportunity. We look back, wanting to change something that no longer exists, regretting what we could have done but didn’t. What’s important is to move through life gracefully and peacefully without fretting over what could have or should have happened but didn’t.
Limitations and success will be based, most often, on one’s expectations. What the mind dwells upon, the body acts upon.
BEYOND EXPECTATIONS
Over time, what ends up happening, tables turn. Second chances reappear because everything evolves. If it doesn’t come back full circle, something new can and will enter the picture. However, it’s never during the timeline of our expectations. Sometimes we place too much hope in something or someone until we move from inspired to discouraged. We end up changing our minds midstream and move in a thoroughly different direction. What happened? Overthinking, that’s what happened. We were headed in what seemed to be the right direction, but all of a sudden did an about-face. We turned on a dime and that for the most part changed our life. Perhaps it changed our life for the better, perhaps, not.
CREATE WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY
It’s one thing to reminisce, but a whole different story to live in the past. Take the memories, roll them up in a ball, and let them roll back to where they belong. Out of sight and out of mind. Whenever we release whatever we have no control over, we no longer focus on it. By being less attentive on what was lost and focused more on what we have yet to gain, allows us to create something brand new. A new opportunity, a new blessing. When we exercise creativity, it helps us to not only shift into a different mindset but into different energy. We decide what it is we need to create. The key is to create whatever adds meaning and value to your life, in a nutshell, what makes you happy.
