How can we move beyond fear? If we continue to entertain our fears, we get trapped in anxious moments where things not only feel wrong, but it’s when something we don’t see rears its ugly head. When living a fear-based life, we go nowhere. Or we get stuck at a crossroads where we ask, should I try again? Should I retrace my steps? Sadly, this is where the maze of life can keep us going in circles if we aren’t careful.
Unfortunately, we resist our truth, refuse to listen to our intuition. Oh sure, we have an inkling but refrain from doing anything about it. It’s when fear, ego, or pride get in the way, followed by the what-ifs.
What if I’m wrong?
What if I’m making a mistake?
The what-if shows up as a reminder, prompting us to acknowledge that we are only human.
But wait. What if you’re right? And what if it isn’t a mistake but a mere oversight? Something happened. It occurred when you failed to notice some aspect of the job, a void within a marriage, a partnership, or a friendship. Avoid any truth, and it will lead you down a lonely trail where you can get lost in a cycle-of-rehash-repeat. Perhaps by recycling the patterns, we believe we will find a loophole, a place where we evade or avoid what needs to be addressed.
BEYOND FEAR
But then again, what if? What if we were to step back, back to the truth, back to the heart of the matter? Perhaps then we will find the way back to where we belong.
Embrace what needs to be trusted. And with optimism, imagine the silver lining. Try setting your intentions from this magical space of believing in the possibilities. And what happens? You will witness miracles.
PURSUE WHAT LIVES IN YOUR HEART SPACE
Perhaps you took the wrong road and now find yourself stuck somewhere in nowhere land. Maybe you want to go back to that special place tucked away for safekeeping within your heart space. Back to when your heart skipped for joy while it whispered longingly, “This time, this place, this life… is home.”
The bottom line, where you are, who you are, what you do, is an expression of your creation. Know what you need from this life and follow your heart to where you belong. It doesn’t matter where you came from or where you find yourself at this moment. What matters most is where you end up.
It’s impossible, said pride. It’s risky, said experience. It’s pointless, said reason. Give it a try, whispered the heart.
