In life there’s a continuous ebb and flow, there are good days, bad days, and everything in between. But what happens if something takes you by storm? It comes out of nowhere and hits you where it hurts the most. Come on, is what happened in the relationship, in the workplace, or how you see yourself really a surprise? Sure, life can deliver the unexpected. However, I believe there are some things that aren’t surprising, especially when we pay close attention to our intuition and listen to our heart.
The more you trust your intuition, the more empowered you become, the stronger you become, and the happier you become.
Did something happen unexpectedly that left you wondering what the heck happened? Time to assess your current situation and see it for what it truly is. Does it align with who you are, with your personal values, goals, with your dreams and your path to stability, to happiness? If it doesn’t, start planning to create something new.
You write your life story by the choices you make. You never know if they have been a mistake. Those moments of decision are so difficult.
Plan to take another route in a new direction. Only this time spend less time focused on what happened and reflect more on the inner light of truth. This is where the lies are usually disclosed. And this is where the truth breaks the surface to take its deep breath, finally experiencing its newfound freedom.
WHAT STORY DO YOU TELL YOURSELF?
The lies we perceive from others is only part of a story. The rest of the story and I admit the most important part, is the lies we have the tendency of telling ourselves. We convince ourselves everything is honky-dory and just ducky when in actuality; it isn’t. The lies move us ever so gradually away from authenticity and take us to the edge of uncertainty. Uncertain of who we are, why we stay in this place and go through what we’re going through. Doubting the decisions we made, and indecisive on where it is we’re headed. Lost.
The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him.
Whenever anyone is in denial, they only deceive themselves. Denying anything obvious places us in a deceptive and obscure space. How can anyone garner peace of mind knowing and believing something that isn’t even true? Happiness doesn’t live in denial, in falsehood, or in lies. Oh, but wait… insecurity and instability do. Security, stability, certainty, and confidence arrive when we get past the lies and when we are free of half-truths. It’s when we lean in, to listen more closely, to the barely audible whisper ensuring us all will be well once we accept that which is true. The truth only the heart knows oh so well.
TIME TO SHARE THE TRUTH WHICH RESTS WITHIN YOUR HEART
In public, we hide behind a facade that masks the dismal state of affairs we have the tendency to get lost in. In the created and fabricated world of stories that somehow becomes our reality. However, sometimes there’s a breaking point. A time when we open our hearts to share where we’ve been with someone we trust.
Empathy is the most mysterious transaction that the human soul can have, and it’s accessible to all of us, but we have to give ourselves the opportunity to identify, to plunge ourselves in a story where we see the world from the bottom up or through another’s eyes or heart.
